CSS Grid Generator is a Chrome extension for visually creating CSS grid layouts and copying the resulting HTML or CSS. This policy describes what information the extension handles and how it is used.
Information the extension stores
The extension stores your grid settings and layout in the browser’s local storage for the extension. This may include the number of rows and columns, gap size, grid item positions and sizes, selected code view, and theme preference. This information is used only to restore your layout and preferences when you reopen the extension.
This information stays in your browser profile. CSS Grid Generator does not transmit it to the developer or to any server.
Clipboard
When you choose a copy button, the extension writes the generated HTML or CSS to your clipboard. The extension does not read clipboard contents.
Information we do not collect
CSS Grid Generator does not collect personal information, browsing activity, website content, or account details. It does not use analytics, advertising, cookies, or tracking technologies. It does not communicate with third-party services.
Website access
The extension works in its own popup and does not read or modify the websites you visit. It does not request host permissions.
Retention and deletion
Your saved layout remains in the extension’s local browser storage until you reset or clear it, clear the extension’s stored data, or uninstall the extension. The developer does not retain a copy.
Children’s privacy
The extension is a developer tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If the extension’s data practices change, this policy will be updated to describe those changes. The updated date above indicates when this policy was last revised.
